Alex Weiner (Pronounced Wine-er) is the founder and Managing Director of INBALANCE. He is a performance minded leader with a diversified 30 year record of success in Architecture, Construction/ Project Management, Real Estate Development and Multi-Site Program Management. Alex Graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1987, and served as a Project Architect for 10 years, first with Leo A. Daly Company and then with Sverdrup Facilities in Washington DC. Alex joined Bovis Lend Lease in 1997, where he quickly rose through the ranks to become a Vice President, in charge of Global Multi-Site Asset Clients. Alex began his professional training and experience with sustainable projects by taking on the role of US Mid-Continent Region Manager for the BP/Bovis Global Alliance Group. Alex led the Mid Continent Region of the 12,000 site BP-Amoco rebranding program, the Air BP roll out program in South America, and the BP Hydrogen fueling station roll out program. After great success on these programs, Alex was appointed the role of Western Hemisphere Director, overseeing design and construction of all BP non retail assets in the Americas and Africa. He has also held the posts of Vice President of Development for Centrum Properties, and Director of Business Development for Heery International In Chicago. Alex left big corporate behind, in 2008 to start INBALANCE, with his key objective of creating balance in buildings, and balance in his life.
